The film follows Ophelia, a young woman in her mid-twenties, who wishes to make it as a painter but is suffering from a long art block caused by unhealed wounds related to the loss of a dear friend named Luca.
After yet another failed attempt at painting, she finds herself inside a dream-like realm in the form of a bath house, inhabited by other spirits with internal problems similar to her own. In this bath house for spirits, water is a key element for healing, as it prompts the spirits to face the memories/feelings they've been trying to suppress.
